2016 General Terms and Conditions


GENERAL TERMS: Payment constitutes consent to all provisions in the general terms and conditions list, as well as terms and conditions of specific packages. All information in this brochure is subject to change without notice. Each property may have individual conditions & restrictions. Hotels booked as a package may have different terms and conditions. All rates and restrictions are subject to change without notice. Special packages may incur additional restrictions and charges. Holiday travel may have additional restrictions, penalties and payment policies.

RATES: All rates are subject to change without notice. Only full payment, IN OUR OFFICE, will guarantee rates. Certain air segments may have additional restrictions and full payment may be required at time of booking. Groups and special tours require deposits per supplier contracts. All last minute fees are non refundable. All reservations ticketed to protect fares are subject to cancel or change fees and may be non refundable.

CREDIT CARD POLICY: In consideration of All About Travel, Inc. (DBA All About Tours) accepting credit card charges for collection and issuing appropriate travel documentation the retail agency placing said booking shall be liable for all charges placed on the credit card in the event that said charge amounts are declined or for which charges are paid and subsequently charged back for whatever reason including the unauthorized or fraudulent use of the credit card. (Visa, MC, AMEX, Discover, Diners & JCB)

DEPOSITS: A $50 per person deposit is due in our office within five (5) days of booking. Bookings without deposit received in our office within five (5) days are subject to cancellation without notice. Deposits are due when any portion of the reservation holds confirmed space (this includes air, car, hotel, etc.). Some hotels may have different policies. Deposits are refundable.

TRIP MATE TRAVEL INSURANCE - Travel Insurance may not be purchased after final payment has been made.

FINAL PAYMENT: Final payment is due 45 days prior to departure.

FULL PAYMENT: For reservations made under 45 days and more than 7 days prior to departure, full payment is due 5 days after booking. For reservations made under 7 days prior to departure, full payment is due same day as booking. Reservations without full payment may be cancelled without notice.

DOCUMENTS: All About Tours E-documents will be available 28-21 days prior to departure. Earlier requests available with full payment. Full payment is required before any documents will be released from the All About Tours office.

CHANGES: Documents not issued - there is no penalty. Certain restrictions may apply for non-refundable airfare. Documents issued - Exceptions apply for certain periods and non refundable airfare. A $125 change fee for date/itinerary changes will apply to all reservations on Alaska Airlines within 21 days of departure or ticketed. The same person must be traveling, no substitutions. A $30 change fee will apply to all land only reservations. Subject to change without notice. Exceptions apply to certain published airfares and an add/collect fee may be additional. Addition of features and upgrades will not be charged unless air or land is under penalty.

CANCELS: Documents not issued - no charge except if land portion is under penalty. Certain restrictions apply for non-refundable airfare. Documents issued - Exceptions apply for certain periods and non refundable airfare. Alaska Airlines will have a $125 cancellation fee once ticketed. An add/collect fee may be additional. $30 for land only reservations. At least one night hotel room rate will be charged for cancellations within 7 days prior to departure. Additional charges will apply if air or land portion is under penalty.

LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS: There is no charge for last minute E-documents.

NOT INCLUDED: Tours do not include gratuities, federal taxes, gas, oil, parking, traffic violations, insurance (unless purchased), drop off fees, motor vehicle surcharge taxes, meals, long distance phone calls and other items of a personal nature.

GROUP BOOKINGS: Terms and conditions for groups will deviate from normal F.I.T. guidelines.

REFUNDS: For all refunds prior to travel, please allow 2-4 weeks to process. Once travel has commenced there will be no refund except for extenuating circumstances. Requests must be made in writing within 30 days of completion of travel. Please attention all correspondence to CUSTOMER SERVICE REFUNDS. REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED IN THE SAME FORM AS ORIGINAL PAYMENT! NO REFUND will be made for partially used or totally unused tour features or car rentals! Select airfare may also be non-refundable.

IMPORTANT CUSTOMER INFORMATION: Due to increased security at all airports, please carry photo identification that corresponds to tickets. Boarding may be denied should proper identification not be available. Please view for updates on prohibited items and security measures. Should there be a problem with any component of an All About Tours package, contact your booking travel agent immediately. All About Tours will work with your travel agent to correct the situation. Customer satisfaction during a vacation is very important. TRANSPORTATION SECURITY ADMINISTRATION: TSA has mandatory requirements (secure flight passenger data) for all passengers boarding commercial aircraft. All About Tours is required to collect a passenger’s full name (as it appears on government-issued ID), date of birth, gender and Redress Number (if applicable). The boarding of aircraft will be denied if such data is not present in the PNR. It is the SOLE RESPONSIBILITY of the agent and client to provide the accurate passenger data to All About Tours at time of booking. All About Tours will not have any liability for the failure to supply the required information. For additional information on the TSA Secure flight program please visit

BAGGAGE: Airline baggage fees may apply. Several airlines charge passengers, in addition to the fare already paid, for checked baggage. One carry-on (per airline guidelines) is still allowed. Should your itinerary include flights on any connection carrier please check with those companies prior to departure for exact size and weight allowed. Baggage on transfers to hotel may incur additional charges if oversized. Any baggage fees must be paid to the airline or transfer company by the passenger. ALL ABOUT TRAVEL, INC. is not responsible for any loss of or damage to passenger’s baggage under any circumstances. RESPONSIBILITY: ALL ABOUT TRAVEL, INC, DBA All About California/Tours (All About), 12168 SW Garden Place, Tigard, Oregon 97223, (503) 598-0100 acts solely AS THE AGENT for disclosed principals and independent contractors, including air carriers, hotels and other places of accommodation, ground services, tour operators, rental car companies, etc in providing and arranging all services contracted for your trip/tour. Customer hereby agrees that All About makes no express or implied warranties and shall not be responsible for injury to person or property from any cause nor for breach of contract, tort, consequential damages, punitive damages, incidental damages or indirect damages in connection with the goods or services provided by any carrier, airline carrier or any other supplier of services including but not limited to the provider of hotel/condominium accommodations. In the event the service provider cannot provide the services outlined in your tour the service provider will exercise efforts to provide comparable services. The airlines concerned will not be held responsible for any act, omission, or event during the times passengers are not on board their planes or conveyances. The customer/passenger’s contract in use by the airline, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airline and the passenger. Any/all transportation companies shall have or incur their liability, if any, as common carriers All About Travel, Inc. will not be responsible nor incur any liability for the failure to supply accurate and complete information required by TSA.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Liability, if any, shall never exceed the amount actually paid to All About Travel, Inc.


THE USTOA $1 MILLION TRAVELERS ASSISTANCE PROGRAM: All About Hawaii shares the coverage available under the USTOA $1 Million Travelers Assistance Program with affiliates of All About Travel, Inc. who, as an Active Member of the USTOA, is required to post $1 Million with USTOA to be used to reimburse, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the USTOA $1 Million Travelers Assistance Program, the advance payments of All About Hawaii customers in the unlikely event of All About Travel, Inc. bankruptcy, insolvency or cessation of business. Further, you should understand that the $1 Million posted by All About Travel, Inc. and shared by its affiliates may be sufficient to provide only a partial recovery of the advance payments received by All About Hawaii.
