As the sun sets in Kona Town, the excitment of the Royal Kona Luau come to life in Kona's newest cultural experience, VOYAGERS OF THE PACIFIC! An evening filled with feasting, cultural activities, songs and dance,
Voyagers of the Pacific is a spectacular presentaton of the epic journey of our kupuna (ancestors) who traveled across the vast Pacific Ocean, thousands of nautical miles, eventually making Kona their home.

Spectacular ocean views, awe inspiring sunsets, and gentle sounds of waves softly breaking on the lava shore provide a breathtaking backdrop fo the Royal Kona Luau.

Enjoy interactive activities such as the Polynesian tattoo station, where our azrtisan will draw simple Polynesian designson willing guest, create a floral piece to wear for the evening, and hula like the islanders do. Witness the unearthing of the pua'a (pig) using the ancient method of underground cooking in the "imu" pit. The evening is finally crowned with the exciting presentation of the Voyagers of the Pacific Show with stories of our precious island home of Hawaii, and song and dance from across the South Pacific, featuring, the most dangerous dance in all of Polynesia, the Siva Afi or Samoan fire knife dance.
